Freeport Station

The station is located at 23 Depot Street in Freeport, Maine. It’s an easy walk from the station to L.L. Bean, outlet shops, a movie theatre, restaurants, hotels, and scenic trails.

The train platform is outdoors. There are no Downeaster ticketing or passenger facilities at this location. Tickets can be purchased on this site, through the Amtrak mobile app, or by calling 1-800-USA-RAIL.

Yes. The Metro BREEZ is ADA accessible. In fact, all Downeaster trains and stations are wheelchair-accessible, allow service animals, and offer assistance when needed.

Five northbound and five southbound Amtrak Downeaster trains stop in Freeport every day.
