With the Tie Replacement project underway, we understand that schedule and service changes may impact your travel plans. Our team has worked diligently to maintain service on peak trains throughout the project to minimize disruptions.
On days when tie crews are not working, ALL trains will operate as scheduled.
We are still here, and we can still get you where you need to be.
This blog provides important information and helpful tips for planning your upcoming travel with the Amtrak Downeaster.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Review our new schedule effective April 1st, 2025. Train 682 | 692 has a NEW departure time, which will remain in effect until the project is complete. This change allows crews to operate trains through affected areas before construction begins each day.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
When crews are not scheduled to work, all trains will operate normally. There will be minor delays and midday cancellations on scheduled workdays, however, there will always be multiple options for roundtrip service available to you, regardless of the day.
ALWAYS CHECK Amtrak.com
To confirm available services and travel options, visit Amtrak.com and enter your travel details. The displayed options reflect real-time availability.
LEAVE YOUR CONTACT
