How to Enter:
No purchase necessary. Sweepstakes begins on 11/28/22 at midnight Eastern Time and ends on 6/30/23 at midnight Eastern Time. You can enter this sweepstakes by the following means: Online entry: Enter by visiting https://www.amtrakdowneaster.com/giveaway during the Entry Period. Only one entry per person.
Eligibility:
This sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Online entrants must have Internet access as of 11/28/22. Employees and their immediate families, including household members of Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority (NNEPRA), Amtrak Downeaster, their parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising, and promotion agencies are not eligible.
Conditions of Entry:
If you are entering online, you must be the registered subscriber of the e-mail account by which the entry is made prior to November 28, 2022. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. All entries become the property of NNEPRA-Amtrak Downeaster. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. By entering this sweepstakes, you consent to NNEPRA-Amtrak Downeaster’s use of your name and image for promotional purposes, including online announcements, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Neither NNEPRA-Amtrak Downeaster, nor its respective advertising and promotion agencies, or any telephone network or service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, misdirected, illegible or postage due entries.
Prize:
Grand Prize: Two (2) tickets per month. The odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. Any federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. No prize substitution, cash substitution, or assignment or transfer of prizes is permitted, except by NNEPRA-Amtrak Downeaster for reason of unavailability in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. All prizes will be awarded. The tickets are subject to all policies, regulations and restrictions regarding the tickets.
Drawing:
The prize winners will be determined on or about the 10th of each month, by a random drawing from all eligible entries received by the end of the Entry Period. The random drawing shall be conducted by an independent judge whose decisions are final with respect to all aspects of the sweepstakes. The winners will be notified by the email address provided. The winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/publicity and liability release, and return it properly executed within 21 days of attempted notification as a condition of awarding the prize. If prize notification is returned as undeliverable or the winner fails to return the affidavits and release as specified, the winner will be disqualified and an alternative winner will be selected. NNEPRA-Amtrak Downeaster is not responsible for technical, telephone, hardware, or software malfunction, lost, interrupted, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, including the inaccurate or incorrect capture of online entry information, or any other errors of any kind, however caused, that may occur in the processing of the entries in this sweepstakes. If, in NNEPRA-Amtrak Downeaster’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with or alteration of any portion of the sweepstakes, or if any technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes, NNEPRA-Amtrak Downeaster reserves the right to terminate the sweepstakes or void any or all electronic entries. Persons entering via the web (Internet) must provide a valid email address. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify the sweepstakes judges in writing if the entrant changes his/her email address after entering the sweepstakes. (To do so write to: Amtrak Downeaster- Transport Yourself, c/o Affirm Agency, N28W23050 Roundy Drive, Suite 100, Pewaukee, WI 53072). In case of dispute as to the identity of a winner who entered online, such entry will be declared made by the registered user of the email account, and if a prize is won, and such registered user is a valid entrant, the prize will be awarded to such registered user. Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by NNEPRA-Amtrak Downeaster or its agents.
General:
The sponsor of this sweepstakes is NNEPRA-Amtrak Downeaster. This sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. Void where prohibited by law. The winner(s) agree(s) that NNEPRA-Amtrak Downeaster, its affiliates, agencies, and employees shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this sweepstakes or from the acceptance or use of any prize awarded. NNEPRA-Amtrak Downeaster reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner. U.S. law governs this sweepstakes.
Winners List:
For the name of the winners, after the 10th of each month, email sponsor at info@affirmagency.com or send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Amtrak Downeaster-Transport Yourself c/o Affirm Agency, N28W23050 Roundy Drive, Suite 100, Pewaukee, WI 53072 and include the text: Transport Yourself Giveaway WINNER LIST. Washington and Vermont residents need not send stamped envelope. Requests received more than sixty (60) days after the completion of the entry period will not be honored.
