North Station is located on the first floor of the TD Banknorth Garden, home of the Boston Celtics and the Boston Bruins. It is within walking distance to Faneuil Hall Marketplace the North End, the Museum of Science, and other famous Boston attractions.

Regional Transportation
Amtrak: It’s easy to connect with the Downeaster to and from any Amtrak train. Downeaster trains arrive at Boston’s North Station, and all other Amtrak services in Boston arrive at and depart from South Station and Back Bay Station.

To connect to Amtrak trains to points North, West, or South, take the MBTA Orange Line from North Station to Back Bay Station. It takes approximately 15 minutes to make the connection. If you have a lot of luggage, you may wish to take a taxi between North Station and South Station. By taxi the one-mile trip will cost $7–$10.
